LET’S JUST SAY I’M HAPPY TO BE A YOUNG BLACK WOMAN OFFICIANT! Throughout studies I’ve learned that officiants has changed over time. Long long long ago officiant roles were dominated by older, white males. Most couples were unable to get married if they didn’t have a priest or minister that meets the description.
Ancient cultures: Priests and family members performed marriage rites.
Middle Ages: Church leaders became prominent officiants in Europe.
19th century: Secular officiants emerged, separating religious and civil marriage responsibilities.
Modern times: The rise of secularism and non-religious wedding ceremonies has led to the emergence of professional officiants and celebrants who are authorized to legally marry couples without any religious affiliations.
Today: The role of a wedding officiant has evolved significantly to accommodate the diverse beliefs and preferences of couples.
NOT ONLY AM I AN OFFICIANT BUT IM ALSO AN ORDAINED MINISTER. Ordination allows the minister to perform church rituals including baptisms, legal marriages, and
funerals. On the other hand, wedding officiants are licensed ministers who are required to officiate a wedding at a local congregation. Although, the wedding officiant needs to get ordained to officiate a wedding.

I love LOVE. & what better person to bring a union together based on LOVE is YOU. Continue to be a BLESSING to so many looking to have a special day their way. Creating beautiful moments for beautiful couples!
